A next-generation leader, he is known for bold decisions, rapid growth and reimagining lifestyle communities, offering unique insight into the future of the sector.
Von Slater, CEO of Serenitas, is a national leader in the land lease community sector with eight years in executive roles. She has driven the growth of major portfolios, delivering resident-focused communities through expertise in development, funding strategy and scalable models across regional and metropolitan markets.
Nick McGrath, EGM Funds Management at Stockland, is responsible for Stockland’s capital partnering business, overseeing the implementation of strategy, and driving the investment performance of capital partnerships across multiple asset classes, including two LLC capital partnerships.
Michael Rabey, Executive General Manager of Acquisitions and Development at Ingenia, brings 25+ years in property, consulting and strategy. With expertise across residential, industrial, mixed-use and seniors living, he has led projects worth $1.5B and delivered over $1B in revenue, driving growth through innovation and strategic leadership.
Manuel Lang, founder of AVID’s land lease community platform, has 20 years’ experience across banking, finance, property, retirement, aged care and construction. Former CEO of Palm Lake Group, he serves on the PCA Queensland Retirement Living Committee and is passionate about building high-performance, customer-focused teams.
Adam Vaggelas, Founding Partner of GreenFort Capital, leads the group’s strategy, acquisitions and capital partnerships, with a strong focus on the over-50s land lease sector as Director of Liven Communities. With $8B in real estate investments across alternative and commercial sectors, he brings deep expertise in strategy, asset management and development.
Suzanne Jensen has served as General Manager of Development at Palm Lake Group since mid‑2021. A seasoned town planner with over a decade of development experience across over‑50s manufactured-home estates, retirement villages, and aged care projects, she leads major resort developments that balance exceptional design with strong community outcomes.
Stephen Edwards, CEO of Edwards Group, leads one of South Australia’s largest privately owned operators of holiday parks, lifestyle villages and residential communities. With over 15 years in the business, he has driven the Group’s growth through strategic acquisitions, development and industry advocacy, expanding its regional footprint and delivering high-quality, community-focused projects across the state.
Justin Ayre, Managing Director at Macquarie Asset Management’s Real Estate group, originates and manages opportunistic real estate investments in Australia. He leads the firm’s investment strategy in the Australian land lease communities sector, driving growth and value through strategic acquisitions, development partnerships, and portfolio management across this rapidly expanding housing model.
Anthony Pitt, Partner at HopgoodGanim, is a leading Queensland expert in the development, operation and dispute resolution of land lease communities. Advising under the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Act 2003 since its inception, he works with owners on documentation, operations, and disputes, helping optimise communities while minimising legal risk.

Lyndelle Seymour is a Principal Town Planner at RPS Group with extensive experience across greenfield, industrial, residential, retirement and retail projects. With expertise in statutory and land use planning, she delivers practical solutions that optimise project outcomes and support sustainable economic, social and environmental growth.
Chris O’Driscoll is National Director of Healthcare & Retirement Living at Colliers, with nearly two decades of experience in property transactions. Specialising in retirement villages, aged care, and land lease communities, Chris brings deep expertise in strategic divestment, acquisitions, and capital flows shaping the sector’s rapid growth.
Rodney Norris is a real estate financing specialist with 15 years’ experience in construction and investment lending across all asset classes. As Director at MA Financial Group, he leverages deep industry knowledge to deliver tailored funding solutions and a seamless experience for clients, from developers to investors.
Brendan Hogan is the Director of Residential at Colliers. He has spent over a decade at the company, leading sales and marketing efforts for major residential development sites.
