Speakers

Annabel McFarlane is Head of Strategic Research at JLL Australia, leading insights on investment, city growth, urban logistics, sustainability, and land supply. With over 25 years’ experience across valuation, academia, and research, she’s a trusted voice in media, universities, and conferences, shaping conversations on Australia’s evolving urban future.
Paul Ford is Joint Managing Director at Centennial, leading capital partner relationships and new fund creation. He founded the group’s Industrial & Logistics platform in 2018, after serving as Industrial CEO at Charter Hall, where he grew the team and portfolio into Australia’s second largest. Paul also sits on Centennial’s board and investment committee.
Trevor Lee is Development Director at Stockland, overseeing NSW’s logistics pipeline from multi-level warehouses to intermodal terminals and complex infrastructure. With more than 20 years’ experience in property development, investment and construction across Australia and overseas, Trevor brings deep expertise in delivering large-scale projects shaping the nation’s industrial future.
Owen Smith is Director of Commercial and Industrial Development at Salta, with 17 years at the group and a background spanning real estate, banking and development. He has led landmark projects including Nexus Mulgrave and Dandenong South, delivering innovative, sustainable precincts that create long-term value and high-performance outcomes.
Charlotte Brabant is Head of Investments, Australia at Realterm, leading the origination and acquisition of transport-advantaged assets nationwide. With more than 20 years’ experience across Multiplex, GPT, 151 Property and Blackstone, she brings deep expertise in industrial development and investment. Charlotte is also a founding member of Women in Industrial.
Andrew Simons is Head of Development – Industrial & Logistics at Charter Hall, with 32 years’ industry experience and 11 years at the group. A qualified valuer, he leads a $7 billion industrial pipeline, including $2.7 billion in committed projects, drawing on deep expertise across agencies, developers, fund managers and REITs.
Chris Favretto is Vice President in Cabot Properties’ investments team, responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing opportunities across Australia. With more than 15 years’ experience at Lendlease, CBRE and JLL, he brings deep expertise in origination, transactions and stakeholder management, with a strong focus on value creation and long-term performance.
William Schrumpf is the director of leading property group, Astina Group. Astina is known for pioneering positive change through development, construction, accommodation and wellness in Western Sydney. William’s progressive ethos spans across all aspects of the company, striving to break the mold and establishing a unique culture that supports a 360 degree approach to living.
Adam Matkovich is Director – Investment at MaxCap Group, with over 15 years’ experience in banking and real estate finance. Based in Sydney, he specialises in lending origination and portfolio management across all sectors. Adam previously worked at ANZ and holds a Master of Business in Finance from UTS.
As the CEO of Avenue Bank, Peita has taken the bank from ideation, through to full banking licence and market launch. Peita is a seasoned creator of digital products and businesses with 25 years’ experience across the Australian banking and commodity sectors. A founding member of UBank, she shaped its strategy, operating model, and governance, while digitising deposit and mortgage journeys to deliver a seamless customer experience. Previously at Accenture, she delivered strategy, transformation, and business design programs for major telecommunications and media clients. Peita holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
As Head of Development for Hale Captial Partners, an institutional real estate fund manager and developer with a focus on infill industrial markets, Kenji has overseen all of Hale’s development activities and pipeline with a current on completion value of almost AUD$2b. Kenji has a deep background in industrial property sector having previously held senior roles at leading sector specialists including Logos, Frasers Property Industrial and Commercial & Industrial Property over a career spanning 25 years across the Australian and New Zealand markets. Kenji's broad experience has included Architectural design, Design Management, Construction Project Management, Site Acquisitions, Development Management and Leasing.
Lindsay specialises in all aspects of commercial real estate transactional and advice work and has acted on various aspects of property transactions, including commercial and residential disposals and acquisitions (including distressed assets), property management and commercial, industrial telecommunications and retail leasing (on both the landlord and tenant side). Her clients include property developers, major corporations and property trusts.

Join us for a one-on-one with Paul Ford as he charts Centennial’s rise from a single thesis to a national industrial platform. Paul is Joint Managing Director at Centennial Property Group, where he leads relationships with capital partners and drives new fund creation. In 2018, he founded and built Centennial’s Industrial & Logistics platform, establishing it as a key national player.

Previously, Paul was Industrial CEO at Charter Hall, where he launched and scaled the Industrial & Logistics portfolio into Australia’s second-largest from inception.

Today, Centennial is an independent property investment manager and developer with over $2.4 billion in assets under management across industrial, commercial, retail, boutique residential, and social infrastructure.
