The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence, presented in partnership with Trilogy Funds, are back for 2026.
In 2025, the awards program attracted the highest number of submissions to date, resulting in more than 200 finalists across 28 categories. This year, we return for our ninth year, hosting the gala awards dinner on the Gold Coast on Friday, July 24, 2026.
We will be recognising excellence across 25 categories, covering Development of the year and Industry Excellence, and are eager to witness the exceptional projects and organisations stepping into the spotlight.

Industry Excellence
Lachlan Webb Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lachlan Webb Lifetime Achievement Award is presented annually to an individual who has achieved extraordinary success in creating both the built environment and thriving communities over the course of their life and career.
The award is named in honour of Lachlan Webb, who along with Adam Di Marco, co-founded The Urban Developer in 2014.
Lachlan was instrumental in the formative years of The Urban Developer, designing and building the digital and human ecosystem that it is renowned for today.
Sadly, Lachlan passed away in 2024 after a courageous battle with Fatal Familial Insomnia (FFI), an incurable neurological disease passed from generation to generation.
Lachlan’s legacy is one defined by vision, creativity, kindness and strength – qualities that the team at The Urban Developer assess all future recipients of his eponymous award against.
