Finalists Announced for The Urban Developer’s Urban Leader Awards 2025

The Urban Developer has announced the finalists for its second annual Urban Leader Awards, presented by Zagga, recognising the individuals driving change and shaping the future of Australia’s cities.

The calibre of nominations was among the strongest yet, showcasing the breadth of leadership across the property sector — from entrepreneurs and designers to policymakers, financiers and advocates.

Winners will be unveiled at a gala event in Sydney on October 30, where the industry will come together to celebrate the people behind the projects and ideas redefining urban development.

Finalists will have first access to registrations for the gala. Others keen to attend can join the waitlist to be notified when tickets are released.

This award recognises an individual or group of individuals who own or lead a property development company that has achieved industry success and made a positive impact on the community.

Young Developer of the Year (40 and under)

This award recognises an individual or group of individuals (40 years of age and under) that own or run a property development company that has achieved industry success and made a positive impact on the community.

Future Leader – Property & Development (35 and under)

This award recognises an outstanding individual aged 35 or under who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and impact in the property and development sector.

Future Leader – Design & Construction (35 and under)

This award recognises an emerging individual or group of individuals (35 years of age or under) that demonstrate industry leadership across any field in the built environment.

Women’s Leadership

This award recognises an individual woman or group of women that demonstrate industry leadership across any field in the built environment.

Women’s Leadership – Emerging (40 and under)

This award celebrates women aged 40 or under who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, influence, and impact in the property and development sector.

Community Leadership
