BEFORE YOU ENTER
Before submitting your entry to The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence, confirm your eligibility by reviewing the entry guidelines information below.

ELIGIBILITY
The awards are open to property developers and professionals operating in Australia and New Zealand.
Development of the Year – These categories are open to all projects that have been completed between January 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.
Industry Excellence – These categories are open to all projects, initiatives or products that been carried out between January 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.
SITE INSPECTIONS
Finalists in the Development of the Year categories will undergo site inspections conducted by a representative from The Urban Developer, from April 27, 2026 to May 22, 2026.
The Urban Developer will coordinate site visit details in advance. Availability during the nominated period is required, as site inspections are mandatory to validate the written submission to be eligible for award consideration.
JUDGING
Judging for The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence will commence after all site inspections are completed in June 2026.
Our distinguished panel, drawn from property development, design, government, technology and more, ensures a fair and unbiased selection.
Categories are evaluated based on specific weighted criteria that emphasise excellence in design, leadership, community impact, and innovation.

Register an account with Award Force and begin your submission. All questions and criteria are in the portal to answer and adhere to.
Your application must be submitted through the awards platform to be considered eligible. You may submit multiple entries.
Entry pricing:
Early Bird Rate (Closes Friday, March 6)
- First entry: $450 ex GST.
- Second entry: $400 ex GST
- Subsequent entries: $375 ex GST
- Valid until **Friday, 6 March 2026**
Standard Rate (Closes Thursday, April 2)
- First entry: $550 ex GST.
- Second entry: $500 ex GST
- Subsequent entries: $475 ex GST
- Valid until **Thursday, 2 April 2026**
NOMINATIONS CLOSE
All applications are required to be submitted by Thursday, 2 April 2026 11:59 PM (AEST) to be eligible.
FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
The finalists for each category will be announced by The Urban Developer on Monday, 20 April 2026.
AWARDS GALA NIGHT
Winners will be announced during an Awards Gala night on the Gold Coast.
